Welcome to the Women's Studies Department
Women’s Studies is a flexible interdisciplinary program designed to foster students’ personal and intellectual development and to prepare them for socially responsible community involvement and a broad range of careers.+
We would also like to welcome Professor Sally McWilliams who has joined us from New Jersey as a new professor and Director of Women's Studies. Sally's areas of specialty are globalization and narrative strageies of representation. Sally's office is located in Neuberger Hall 470 and you may contact her via email: s.mcwilliams@pdx.edu or phone (503)725-3516.
Drop by our office! Our office is a great place to hook up with other majors, minors, faculty and staff. We have a comfortable space with couches, chairs, and a meeting space for brown-bag lunches and informal conversation. The office is also a wonderful resource for information you might need concerning your academic and personal life.
